Why complete information matters
Two forklifts with the same rated capacity can require different configurations when lifting height, load dimensions, working environment or attachments change. A complete enquiry makes it easier to identify a suitable model and prepare a useful quotation.
1. Required capacity and load details
Provide the maximum load weight, load dimensions and load centre where available. Include whether the load is palletised, unusually long or handled with a special attachment.
2. Required lifting height
State the maximum lifting height or unloading height. Also share any height restriction at doors, containers, storage racks or the work area.
3. Working environment
Explain whether the equipment works indoors or outdoors, the condition of the ground, the available aisle width and the expected daily operating time.
4. Product preference and options
Tell the supplier whether you are considering diesel, electric, LPG, rough terrain or loader equipment. Mention any requested options, such as a battery preference, attachment or special fork dimensions.
5. Destination
Provide the delivery country, city or destination port. This helps the supplier discuss quotation and delivery requirements accurately.
When you are ready, request a product recommendation and quote.
